Job Description:
The Product Environmental Compliance Coordinator (Contractor) supports the Endoscopy Division's Product Environmental Compliance program by helping ensure products meet global environmental regulations such as RoHS, REACH, POPs, WEEE, and California Proposition 65. This individual contributor role focuses on maintaining accurate compliance data, coordinating supplier outreach, supporting time-sensitive projects, and preparing reports that track progress and support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include extracting and reconciling data from multiple systems, managing submissions to third-party compliance evidence providers, researching and responding to customer or sales-related compliance inquiries, revising compliance documentation, and supporting non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. The role also partners with cross-functional teams to organize and execute project tasks and works directly with suppliers to obtain and review environmental compliance evidence.
The ideal candidate has strong Excel and data analysis skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. A background in data, analytics, computer science, or a related field is preferred, along with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience working across teams and familiarity with Microsoft Office are important; Power BI knowledge is a plus. This role does not include people management responsibilities, requires minimal travel, and may be performed in a hybrid work arrangement. (Preference for hybrid/in office 3 days per week.)

This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines. This job typically requires a minimum of 2 or more years experience.
This is a hybrid role of:
1. Data Management - data mining, entering mined data, pulling reports, creating reports, organizing reports. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory (Pivot tables, formulas including IF, VLOOKUP, etc.)
and
2. Project Mgmt - We have a third party vendor that requires data submissions, day-to-day management, analysis and communication with the third party vendor. Outreach to Stryker suppliers will also be required.
Must Have Experience:
- Extremely strong Excel skills (advanced Vlookup, If formulas, Pivot Tables)
- Must be comfortable with creating a process (rather than only being given a process to follow)
- Capable of supporting a third-party vendor in progressing a defined list of components (hold them accountable, categorize issues and bring to me, etc.).

Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
Experience with Microsoft Platform (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
Data Analysis - 2 years of experience preferred
